Hi. I’m Itai and I make videos.

You can sometimes see my documentary work in places like the New York Times or CNN and I do commercial work for clients like Daimler, Amazon, and the European Commission. I also make independent films including a web series called Sluggish, which I hope you will get to check out. I live in Berlin but I make videos all around the world. I often write, produce, shoot, edit, and animate my videos but I also take on projects as a creative director collaborating with other talented creatives. Here is some more information about that:

CONCEPTION AND SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT

Although I'm a filmmaker, I spend much of my time writing, and I'm often involved in the conceptual part of the videos I work on as a creative director or as a writer. I help agencies come up with scripts for their pitches, I write concepts for brands' social media videos, and I write the story and the narration for most of my documentary work.

FILMING AND VIDEOGRAPHY

I do most of my filming using my own gear. My weapon of choice is the Sony Alpha 7S II along with a decent collection of lenses, wireless audio gear, and a basic lighting kit. It is a versatile 4K gear-set that produces a beautiful cinematic look and can just about fit in a carry-on.

EDITING, ANIMATION AND MOTION DESIGN

All the post-production is done at my studio in Kreuzberg, Berlin using the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. I edit using Premiere Pro and most of my recent work includes a large component of 2D and 2.5D motion design using After Effects.
